The kaolin produced by Amberger Kaolinwerke for use in sanitary ceramics is extracted from the deposits at Schnaittenbach, Kemmlitz, Gluhivzi and Surmin. These mines contain kaolin of different types, and the products produced form these raw materials also exhibit very diverse ceramic characteristics. For example, we can offer the best possible quality with respect to important individual characteristics (such as casting rate, part formation, rheology and plasticity), as well as other types with well-balanced characteristics.

By carefully mixing raw materials, the best kaolin is produced for the respective application.
In addition to our kaolins, we offer a broad range of other minerals such as feldspar, quartz and kaolin chamotte.
